Lost in time

I love this look in this photo taken when i was in LA. It is either I'm lost or I'm attracted/distracted by something, someone. All my life, I've always been distracted. It's a love-hate relationship. I love the random thoughts, the sudden passion for new things, experiences, events and activities and the adrenaline or happy feelings that come out of it. I become restless when I sit down and do nothing but the mundane routine and always not contented with what I've already gain. There's always something or someone out there I feel a need to explore, to know, to feel. I hate the need to always have to move and the fatigue from finding new interests in order to keep the boredom at bay. I hate that this constant distraction from what's at hand and often not able to concentrate long enough has kinda made me a master of none or under-perform. Sometimes, I would like to focus on what's infront of me and go for it and I would also really want to learn to be contented. To stop and smell the roses and just relax. Yes, I do enjoy this but then after awhile, I'll be wondering 'what is next then?' So many possibilities in this world, this life, this universe and God only gave us one shot at it. We only live once each year, each day, each minute. We can never return to the same spot again. We can do the same things, be with the same person but it will never ever be the same. We all age and one day we will all have to leave our lives behind forever. Look at how my beloved Lulu has grown and how I've grown with her. We tend to take people and pets for granted but I know everyone of you is always in my mind and in my heart. <3 Some things never change over time even when they say that the only constant across time is Change. I still believe in hope and hope is the only important force that keeps us sane and alive. I believe that if something or someone is worth it, it doesn't matter what others say, you fight to treasure it because these are things and people that make you happy and give you hope in life. If you're not happy n this life and have no hope in life, then what is life worth living for? Let us have not only eyes to see what's infront of us, ears to hear what's around us, sense to understand what's there for us but also a good heart to feel what's not always there, yet definitely exists. Let that be love. Let us have the strength to never walk away from each other. Let us have the determination to stay together and overcome. Let us have the ability to see, to hear, to sense and to feel happiness in the brightest days and in the darkest nights. Let there be love. God, please grant me and those I love and whom loves me, the fortune to be happy and hopeful, always. Amen. Saturday, September 10, 2011 • 3:24 PM • 0 comments ![]() Happy times with yiwen and yilynn! Lantern at Fullerton Bay Hotel is pretty although I heard someone jumped off and died there but it's a nice place for solemnization. Makes pretty photos! My little precious cactus in office has bloomed again. A tiny white flower and on the same day that I wore a white flower ring. :) I'm hoping my african violet would blossom too!![]() Okay, so mum has been telling me this delivery dog walker kinda jerkish guy has been letting his beagle off the leash in the neighbourhood several times. She even scolded him a few times because the beagle scratched and tried to climb up my mum to sniff Lulu!Lo & behold, yesterday I did meet this beagle who kept following me and would scratch me to climb up my body just to sniff Lulu. I just kept walking, he kept following. Nobody wanted to help me at all!! Stupid owner wasn't around too! Even when i asked a guy at my lift landing, he just adamantly said "No, I cannot". Friggin' hell! What kind of guy is he! So i shouted at the dog who left the lift and only to return in just as the door was about to close. When i reach my door, my kind neighbour helped me chase the dog away while I sneaked back home quickly. The poor beagle was lost and scared and stayed on the 12th floor. I called the police while mum called SPCA. Police took so long to reach and together we brought the beagle down so that his owner can claim him back. Indeed, the stinky old man was cycling around looking for his dog. The police gave him a warning and asked if I wanted to press charges since the dog did injure me. I told the stinky man that if I see his dog off leash again, I'll press charges. The stinky man apologised but he said things about how my mum and i weren't kind people to his dog. Hellooooo! I could have sent your dog to SPCA and you would never see him again. I was just afraid they would put the gentle giant down that's why I returned him to you, you shithead! And yes, the evidence of my scratches and bruises and the beagle! I even lost my voice from shouting. Didn't help that i went zouk for Cosmic Gate too. Haha! ![]() Finally, to end off, here's a pretty nice photo of awesome4some - 1. :) I'm trying to take things slow, so God would have time to send me his blessings.
